Description
This immature male rose-breasted grosbeak was eating the white berries of this grey dogwood shrub in Point Pelee National Park of Ontario, Canada, in the late summer. The immature males have the streaking on the breast like the females but are beginning to show the pinkish red coloring of a breast patch like the adult males.
