Description
One of the things that I wanted to focus on with the series of images that I took at the Great Sand Dunes was the strong darks created by the shadows formed during the sunset. They seemed to add so much depth to the image, while creating something of a repetitive pattern in the rolling sandy peaks. I marveled at the sight of these peaks, with not a full understanding of the difficulties it would cause me as I then attempted to hike up them. Colorado, 2020.
