A Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) looking for prey in early morning light, at the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge in Northern California, just south of Oregon.
I liked the side lighting on the Hawk, framed nicely by the background vegetation and the blue sky. I was amused by the Hawk looking for a prey from a No Hunting sign.
