Some fascinating stuff! Energy and discipline expressed as spontaneity. I completely understand your remark about feeling "such powerful emotions every time I start painting...!" For me, it doesn't end until the piece is completed -- and then there's that let down when your creation doesn't need you any longer. (Of course, watercolors are a completely different process.) Thanks, also, for your comment on Old Slave Market - Charleston. -- JD

You made my day, thank you Joel from my deepest heart for this wonderful comment, it means so much and I am grateful ... I do understand that feeling of 'let down'...but there there is exaltation also, right after...when the creation is completed, for me... well, I also sing on my husband's electronic tracks...so I'm constantly trying to keeping in the creative mood...it's so beautiful to do so...wish you the best!!
