Portrait of a Northern Pygmy Owl by Constance Puttkemery. I was outside with my camera when this Northern Pygmy Owl landed on a nearby branch. This is the first time that I have spotted this type of owl. I learned today that they prey upon songbirds which are plentiful in our backyard.
