The Galleria is a building in downtown Portland, Oregon that was refurbished in the 1970s as an indoor mall. I was visiting the Oregon branch of the family in November 1994 and we spent some time here. We took the escalator to the top floor and while I was waiting for the rest of the family to do their thing I began noticing the different colors and layers of the architecture. Using a 24mm wide angle lens, I took about half a dozen shots over the rail from different angles. This straight-on shot proved to be the best.
The building is no longer a mall and as of this writing it is now a Target store, making this photo an interesting historic record.
