Philippine Eagles have a wing span up to 7 feet. They solely live in the forests of a handful of the Philippine Islands. Due to their shrinking habitat—75% of the forests lost since the start of the 20th century—they are sometimes forced to search for food around human settlements and their livestock. This results in them being shot & killed. Additionally, the large hardwood trees that the eagles nest in are prized by illegal loggers. Part of the 100 WILD ANIMAL MINI-PRINTS series.
