Penon De Ifach And Calpe

Description
View from the Sierra de Oltà mountain towards Calpe and the Peñón de Ifach. Hiking near the coast offers wonderful views of the rock called Peñón de Ifach (Penyal d'Ifac), which is the symbol of the coastal town of Calpe. It rises majestically out of the sea and has very striking rock shapes, especially with its vertical cliffs on the south face. This photograph is dedicated to the view of the blue Mediterranean Sea and the city center of Calpe with its skyscrapers and the salt lake. The Peñón de Ifach is the smallest nature reserve on mainland Spain, but is also a popular destination for hiking and climbing.
My work is inspired by long hikes on remote mountain trails on the Costa Blanca in Spain. When I hike in the Sierra de Oltà and let my gaze wander into the distance, the feelings of freedom and serenity are omnipresent. There are equally wonderful views of the coast, the wide Mediterranean Sea and the mountains near the coast. This shot is destined to bring some of the charm of the coastal town of Calpe and its landmark into your home.
Feel free to visit my website www.montepuro.com which is dedicated to landscape photography, hiking adventures and charming places in the southeast of Spain.
