I think Buggs' paintings are often portraits of his energy and personality. This one certainly fits that description. An under-painting of black was followed by pale gray and finished with energetic strokes of red and blue. Because Buggs paints in a barn, there are often bits of hay that get stuck in the paint that add texture. I always take photos of Buggs painting.
