Description
This is a panorama of a Downtown Houston park called "Discovery Green." The 12-acre park opened in 2008, and it includes a lake, restaurants, a stage for public performances, and dog runs.
I had thought about photographing this location for a few days, as I felt I needed new vantage points to photograph from around Houston. I finally made up my mind on the morning of Friday June 6th. It is truly a labor of love for the arts to wake up and get out of bed at 4:45 to capture the minutes before the sun rises, which in this case, being early June, it was at 6:11 AM! If you are familiar with the City of Houston, you can see the sun rising from behind Minute Maid ballpark. Thanks for looking and please preview individual areas of the image for quality.
