Description
This is Mrs. Tarrant. She graced our kitchen windowsill for many years, but eventually departed, as plants do. The other miniature zonal Pelargoniums have continued to thrive in the east window for over ten years now, but she was the loveliest. I'm glad I captured her before she left.
You may be thinking to yourself that this is a Geranium. Well, this is what we commonly call a zonal Geranium, but, actually, it isn't a true Geranium--it is a Pelargonium. Most of the flowers we call Geraniums aren't, but maybe it doesn't really matter. They are related, and a Pelargonium by any other name would look as sweet. ;)
I was borrowing a soft focus lens when I took this, so it has more of a dreamy, diffuse effect. I did apply a texture from 3 Lil Owls, but part of the pattern in the background is actually a blurred window screen!
