Description
This is perhaps my favorite shot the the Old Sheldon Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. These ruins are a popular location for many outdoor weddings. The old church, also known as Prince Williams Parrish, has a rich history. It was burned originally by the British during the revolutionary war; it was later rebuilt only to be burned again by General Sherman during the Civil War.

P.S. Thanks for the detailed description. What a history! I can certainly see why special events are held in the shadow of these lovely ruins.
