Description
This magnificent Ohio home was a watercolor house portrait painting commission given as a Christmas gift from a husband to his wife. Apparently, these empty nesters are planning to move from their blessed family home where they raised their children. My watercolor portrait of this home will hang in their new home as a gentle daily reminder of the family stories and cherished moments etched in their memories that were enjoyed there.
Since he did not have a suitable photo of their home, this resourceful gentleman researched on Google Maps and discovered that Google's street views of the home seemed to be good. After contacting me, I had a look at the online views of the home and determined that the photos were suitable for using as reference for a home portrait with wonderful curb appeal. Only a few little glitches needed to be tweaked in the online architecture presentation. The perspective required adjusting, the roof line needed to be aligned, trees needed to be adjusted to show the front entrance and hidden areas of the home. Google's images showed a late summer view of the home which I was requested to change to spring landscaping with blossoms and flowers.
