The sun rises over the ocean at the Oceanana Fishing Pier, Atlatntic Beach, North Carolina. The image was made on a mid-September morning. The pier is nearly empty of fishermen and there are very few beach walkers on this beautiful sea side morning. Nature paints the sky with warm, lovely colors. Gentle waves lap agains the shoreline. Rain clouds can be seen forming over the Atlantic.
