Description
There are still tracks under there somewhere, but I bet it's been eight or nine years since they saw a train. I also bet they will never see another one. This is the former Southern Railway (later NS) SB line in Tirzah, SC. The line is not officially abandoned here. It is supposed to be kept open in case the Catawba Nuclear Station needs to ship in or out using the railroad.
