Greetings Lisa, thank you so much for viewing New Orleans Statue The Eyes Of Saint Joseph, it pleases me and settles my mind I am not the only individual who noticed the marble statue has a unique human like characteristics, especially the right eye of the statue. When I returned home did I not make the discovery, I took various angles full length and side view and did not notice any definitions of the eyes but as you would see in a marble sculpture. Because I like Sepia tone I used it and the marble statues take a complete different appearances as in a lithograph print not a marble statue. I did not do anything to the original photos except use sharpening tool and darkening the Picasa application. I am planning on meeting with the Archbishop of New Orleans and the pastor of St. Joseph Church for them to view this remarkable image. At first thought when I enlarge the image I was having a divine moment of sorts. I keep going back and viewing the photo. I am returning to take more images and closely look at the marble statue which is located in the front garden of the church under palm trees. The facial hair when I use sepia tone or darken to max resembles real human hairs....the moustache and beard......I appreciate very much the generous comment and the L,F,T,P Cheers from New Orleans, Michael Joseph Hoard
