Description
While on a road trip back to Texas from California we drove by the Needle mountains in Arizona. The sharp tops of these mountains a few miles from the highway are contrasted with the desert terrain in front. I decided to process this image in a panoramic format with an artistic poster-like technique in lavender and orange tones for an artsy style.
The Needle Mountains are adjacent to the Topock Gorge and the Colorado River. Some of the peaks are over 1600 feet in altitude.
