Michigan is a water wonderland. This image of the Mackinac Bridge that spans the Straights of Mackinac between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, the Upper Peninsula and the Lower Peninsula of this beautiful state. Opened in 1957, the 26,372-foot-long bridge is the world's 20th-longest main span and the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere.
This bench sits with a breathtaking view waiting for someone to relax and enjoy the beauty. It is a popular spot in Mackinaw City on the Lower Peninsula side. Although Michigan is also known as the winter wonderland, if you've never experienced Michigan in the summer, it's a must on the bucket list for its lush green landscapes and sparkling blue waters.
