Description
I am working on a Childhood Memory series which I decided to paint because I'm feeling nostalgic and would like to paint scenes which could be applied to any child. I'm working on one with a little girl and big black horse. Afterwards, I hope to finish my San Francisco painting but there are lots of childhood memories we all have....maybe playing with a turtle, hanging out with other kids on the dock, my son catching a baby alligator, whatever, hanging under the apple tree. This photograph was a picture of my son at Sunset Beach when he was quite young and was taken at sunset. It's one of my favorite pictures and is wonderful because it can be anybody's son - as long as they've tried to fish at least once. This is a signed original painting on heavy cold-pressed Arches paper.

Hi Allen!!! Thanks so much. This was photographed in extreme shadow so I lightened it a tad so it wasn't so dull when I painted it. I'm going to be catching up now after I get out from under these paintings I've started! :) Thank you though. I really wanted it to be nice and colorful despite it being so close to dark.
