Besides being only a 16x20", this piece took 11 days to create. I have never created a portrait of a racehorse before, and I must admit, I look forward to creating many more!!! Horses are beautiful, majestic animals which are hard to paint mostly b/c of their defined muscular bearing, yet the results can be astonishing!
