Description
Grandmother is holding child as he dips his toes into the ocean for first time. He trusts her and thus a memorable moment ensues. The warm gulf waters are a new sensation for him, and the sheer expanse of the sea is visually exciting as well.
This may or may not linger in his mind into adulthood, but it definitely helped set the stage for self-discovery.
