Fishing boats on the slipway in Mullion harbour on the Lizard Peninsula at low tide with Mullion Island beyond.
The construction of the 180 foot long west pier at Mullion Harbour was successfully completed in December 1892. The construction of the south pier was completed in May 1897.
Over the years storms have battered the harbour walls, sometime causing extensive damage, but today it still stands, protecting the village from the worst of the weather.
