While enjoying a walk around the nature trail at the Venice Campus of State College of Florida, many ibises were enjoy their morning baths before going out to forage for breakfast in the grasses nearby. These two were chatting, apparently, about some humorous event the smaller one had seen.

The State College of Florida campus is about 100 acres and is open to local residents and visitors to visit to enjoy the large wetlands area which attracts many of Florida's coastal birds and wildlife to the shallow lakes and ponds.

The ibis is the mascot to the University of Miami Hurricanes sports teams and is named Sebastian.

This version of this photograph includes text, "It was the funniest thing I ever saw!". The smaller bird appears to be speaking and I thought the caption fit the image. My greeting cards are 5" x 7" (folded) and include white-envelopes for mailing and/or gift giving. Each card is printed on 100-pound paper stock with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. Inside has a matte white finish and can be customized with your personal message up to 500 characters.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide.
