A fish-shaped vaper trail from the Inspiration4 rocket launch illuminated by the just set sun in the dark early evening sky.
On the evening of September 15, 2021 four civilian astronauts were launched into orbit in a SpaceX Dragon capsule atop a Falcon rocket. This launch occurred just as it was getting dark and people all around central Florida were treated to the 'jellyfish' effect after the rocket reached a high enough altitude to once again be in the light of the setting sun. This photograph was made on the beach in Ormond By The Sea.
