This week's Saturday Infrared photo is of intermodal, CSX I028 as it crests the grade at Mortons Junction on April 12th, 2023, as it heads north on the Henderson Subdivision at Mortons Gap, Kentucky.

CSX I028 is one of four hot intermodals that run along the Henderson Subdivision and its counterpart, I029 runs between Fairburn, GA and Bedford Park, IL, outside of Chicago, IL. The other two intermodals on the line are I025 and I026, which run between Jacksonville, FL and Bedford Park, IL daily.
