Many years ago we went on a road trip to the Houston, Texas area and stopped in a restaurant along one of the highways. It had these hubcaps all over the ceiling and I just loved the circular shapes, shine and angles which made it look like a whimsical art installation.
Hubcaps are a decorative wheel cover for cars. Their function is to reduce the build-up of dirt and moisture. A hubcap actually just covers the hub of the wheel but the full circular and decorative implement is also called a hubcap. They range in prices from affordable to very expensive depending on your taste how you like your car to look.
