Description
The painting challenge was Deserts! With not many travel photos, I reached out to the famous photographers to assist in sourcing material. Bill Swartwout, loaned me his shot, Desert with Cactus and Tree- to paint. I think he was happy with my impressionist style, representing his shot. This on received a great deal of praise during its Social media Debut. Fans favorites, was the spiky tree, and everyone commented on the shadows. Although this is Aruba, in Bill's description, the rocks and warm tans, could represent Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico or West Texas. This was a very fun collaboration. I do need to travel the western USA states soon. Thank you for supporting my artwork journey.
