Bays Mountain Park is a 3550-acre nature park. With over 41 trails that you can choose to match your skill set to. Pictured is the 2.8 loop trail or lakeside trail. Considered to be moderate but with some uphill spots that will require some exertion. Along the reservoir you will probably notice considerable beaver activity. Summer weekends most likely you will meet other hikers, trail runners, birders but weekdays you will find it to be much more peaceful.
Also in the park is a planetarium, nature exhibits and museum.
Bays Mountain Park is near Kingsport Tennessee.
