This image created from one of my original acrylic mixed media collage paintings. I love going to Highlands, North Carolina, and thought this image fit that area perfectly. I added the words "Highlands Where Trees Grow Tall."
Highlands, North Carolina, is in the Blue Ridge Mountains which is part of the Appalachian Ridge. Highlands is the highest elevation town in the eastern U.S. at 4118 feet and is a lovely resort town where you can dine at four-star restaurants, stay at a luxury spa hotel, and put on your hiking boots to climb mountain trails and find spectacular waterfalls and scenery.
I am an award-winning exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
