Monte, I am learning a lot from you. I did not know what a heliconia was until I viewed this stunning image. I like the fact that I can see so much texture & of course the composition is perfect.

I've also done this one as a large canvas for the show I'm doing this month (september) at a very cool cafe' gallery in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC, Canada, called the Smoking Waters Cafe'. Knowing it's appreciated makes me feel much better about spending all that money putting it up :)
