Description
Great blue herons are normally very skitish, at least all the ones I've tried to photograph have been, until this one. I followed the bird as it fished in the two ponds near a local shopping center. I was able to get quite close with out it flying away. Since it was near sunset I decided to create a silhouette that would show off the birds shape.
