Painterly image of the Grand Canyon and Colorado River, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona, USA, from East Rim Drive during a rainstorm.
This image has the look of a painting, and is based on a 1993 photo that was most likely shot from Moran Point. (Experts on Grand Canyon topography, please feel free to correct me.)
Shot in the summer of 1993 with a Minolta Freedom Escort and Kodak film. Scanned in 2014 and given special effects, all by the same artist/photographer.
You will find many restored Arizona film images in this Arizona Gallery. Although they are limited to smaller print sizes, they would make a beautiful grouping for a wall of your home or office, perhaps on canvas, which arrives ready to hang. Most have been sized to fit the 5x7 greeting card format, making the cards easy to frame yourself. Most are available for rights-managed commercial use too.
