Description
In summer 2011 Bristol Zoo celebrated it's 175th birthday by placing 61 lifesize gorilla statues around the city. Each statue had a theme, there was even an Elvis gorilla, and the brightly coloured statues became a major tourist attraction. When summer ended the statues were auctioned for charity, raising over $400,000.
