Description
This is a side view of an old, obsolete piece of farming equipment, a threshing machine. The metal gears are impressive looking. This machinery was used to process plant material into feed for livestock in Colorado. It was used harvest oats from the stalks. The ranch owner tells me that it is still in working order.

Wonderful closeup capture of this old farming implement, Alana! I have seen old tractor-belt-driven machines demonstrated at county fair and history museums. Quite a contraption for separating grain from chaff. L&F
