As is often the way it goes, the face of this Lynx popped out at me after I had completed the painting. Had I 'tried' to paint the eyes and nose it would not have looked so 'real.' When I'm painting, I'm completely free. I let my hands go where they're guided, trusting if it feels right, to just put the brush there. I hope the lynx speaks to you and delivers her silent but powerful message of secrets and mystery.
