GALAXY STORM
Driving into Everglades National Park on a stormy night I though I wouldn't get the chance to photograph the Milky Way. Despite weather reports saying it would be clear what we found instead was severe storms and lightning. I decided to continue into the park on the off chance the Milky Way would reveal itself for a moment or two. Luckily enough it did and even though this was only one of two Milky Way pics I was able to get that night, I'm grateful to have been able to capture it at all. This is now one of my favorite Milky Way photos as the clouds and impending storms in the sky make this a unique and special capture. The light in the distance is from an oncoming car.
