These two adorable kittens were fostered by a friend of mine, and saved by some volunteers who went to Sacramento to rescue them. The local Humane Society here in Northern Nevada had done such a good job of finding homes for homeless pets, that they actually go to neighboring communities in California to rescue kittens there-- where they have more than they can handle and kittens are often put down when they arrive. The Humane Society of Northern Nevada is a no-kill shelter, and any proceeds from the sale of this photo will be donated to the shelter. Thank you!
