Foggy Dawn On The Neshannock River

Description
I stay at a Cabin along the Neshannock River in Volant, PA every Autumn. The scenery was especially awesome on this foggy Autumn morning at sunrise.
The Neshannock Gorge section of Neshannock Creek in Pennsylvania is 2 miles long and is a class I-II(III) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Pennsylvania tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that many of the sections in this state are safe for beginners. If you're coming from New Castle it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you
can see on the road map further down. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance
then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Neshannock Gorge stretch is one of them. The campgrounds here at Neshannock Creek are pretty good. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This stretch is short so it's not like you're
gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The scenic beauty of Lawrence County and the playfulness of the water beats anything.
Briefly about the general area:
If you're dropping by Neshannock Creek from New Wilmington, you won't be the only one. A journey to McConnell's Mill State Park when you're here at Neshannock Creek is a great idea. Neshannock Creek gets a normal amount of annual rainfall. The month with most of the rain is June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Neshannock Creek. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.

To me, photography is an art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I have found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
I hope you enjoy my gallery and would appreciate any comments you may have and of course it would be wonderful and a real honor if you were to purchase a piece of my art.
I hope you enjoyed this visual journey! Please return often as I upload fresh work quite often! I am grateful for your time!
