Sea water, waves and a beautiful beach on the Mediterranean coast. At the foot of the Cumbre des Sol mountain is a dreamy bay surrounded by an impressive rocky backdrop. Cala Moraig is undoubtedly one of my favourite bays on the northern Costa Blanca, because this dreamlike place is where seawater meets rocks that have been shaped by the force of the water over many thousands of years. When I look at the rocks and waves, I think about time and change in nature. In my opinion, the flowing water stands for natural beauty, which is characterised by constant movement and change.
My work is inspired by long coastal walks. When I am on the beach and watch the movement of the water, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. This photo is dedicated to the relaxing effect of seawater. With the beach scene, I want to bring the magic of the Mediterranean coast into your four walls, but also awaken holiday feelings and the desire to travel.
