Description
A group of marchers at the Orpheus Parade organized by the famous actor Harry Connick Jr, musican, singer, pianist and TV host group of Flambeau Carrier illuminate the start of his parade which rolls on the night before Mardi Gras which is Lundi Gras
Years past these torch carriers would march on the side of the massive floats to illuminate the floats. They discontinued this practice for safety concerns of setting the paper and wooden floats on fire. Some of these parades floats are built on wooden waggons with wooden wheels. They would be pulled by horses but now pulled by massive tractors.
