Description
Here is a scene that I witnessed, in Hilo Hawaii. We were at the Paradise Park, and watched as these young people fished, using a kite to get the line out to sea. They were successful with the sport, as the woman and man d are cleaning fish on their cooler, which is sitting on the suv tailgate. A stormed looked to be coming in on this January day, but the sun continued to reflect on the ocean below. I loved this storytelling scene, and painted it using acrylic on panel. I have cropped the original to a square format. The original painting is a 9x 12.

this was my first look at the beautiful big island ocean. I just loved the scene of this family catching big fish, on the Big island! They were cleaning fish on the shore, and stowing it in the cooler. With a storm brewing, they kept working. Loved it so much. Cannot wait to return.
