Title
Fish Bubble
Artist
Angela Stanton
Medium
Painting - Oil Painting
Description
Fish Bubble was inspired by a nature film I watched on TV the other day where the divers took photos of this moving fish bubble as the waves were crashing over them. I could not forget the beauty and took a quick sketch. This is what it became in artistic interpretation. This art is heavily textured so I recommend canvas or fine artist rag for print.

This is a digital hand painting. The benefit of buying a digital painting is that when real canvas paint is shown on Fine Art America, it is only a photograph of the art, so its textures will be blobs and mellow shadows. When it is digital painting, you get the actual original digital image with its textures well pronounced.
Real oil art photographs printed on canvas have no textures; they are flattened out completely so you end up with flat art for both touch and look. With digital art the canvas print retains the textured look. Even when an art piece is digital crayon or chalk or pencil, and so no bulky textures, the crayon's oily slick, or the hardness or softness of the chalk or the scratchiness or smooth blending of pencil lines show exactly the same way on the print as on the original.
When ordering prints of art, you receive better quality prints from digital art than from photographs of real canvas or paper art!
Digital art is also safer to the artist and the buyer since oils release toxic fumes, particularly as the colors are mixed. The thinner is also toxic. There is nothing toxic about a digital painting. :) Enjoy!

Hello my friend! This is awesome! You have great ideas and put them behind your great works of art! 3D is so cool. You used your textures the way I do. Some of a lot say backdrop is a texture. When I tried to explain they didn't want to hear it lol. Love your description too. Interesting information. Keep on keeping on!! f/g+/fb
Angela Stanton replied:
Thanks Erica but I did not use background textures. Everything is hand painted. The ocean water appears to have textures here and there as I used some secret brushes that shape a flower here and there for artistic expression but if you look close enough, there are huge areas of none of that. The air bubbles are all hand painted. There is neither texture under nor on top of the painting. :) I only use textures on photographs and even then only rarely.
