Here I am sharing a vision of the great Mother Goddess: This is a detail of my painting Lalitha Devi: the face of the Great Mother. She could be any Goddess, under any name and form. Her eyes radiate the divine energy, Love and compassion of the Mother Goddess. She is giving Divine energy, blessing and fulfills the wishes of her devotees...
Lalitha means "One who plays" - like the Divine plays with the whole creation.
Here I am sharing a vision of the great Mother Goddess: She could be any Goddess, under any name and form. Her eyes radiate the divine energy, Love and compassion of the Mother Goddess, who is giving Divine energy or blessing and fulfills the wishes of her devotees...
Wherever you are in the room - she looks at you !
One of her many names is Lalitha Devi. Lalitha means "One who plays" - like the Divine plays with the whole creation.
One day in deep meditation I got the idea to paint her like this, in 108 x 96 cm size, on wood. I finished the painting - and many years later during my travels I found a beautiful wooden frame which had exactly this size and could be opened and closed, with golden doors, like an altar! Of course I bought it for her!
The painting is also decorated with gold color, pearls and Svarovski gem stones as jewelry.
