It’s autumn in Scotland and i have been planning to add some autumn colour to my collection of photography. Scotland in the autumn is stunningly colourful when this time of the year comes around.

I couldn’t believe my luck today the 21st of October 2021. I’d taken a few days off from my day job as a Edinburgh Black Cab owner/operator, today was my return.

At the airport my next customer appeared and asked to go to the amazingly beautiful Dunkeld House Hotel. I couldn’t believe my luck when the lady asked if i could wait a couple of hours and bring her back to Edinburgh.

The opportunity i was looking for to do some autumn photography had arrived, i said to the lady, yes i can wait, i’d be more than happy to wait.

Dunkeld House Hotel is situated north of Edinburgh, not far from Perth and roughly 60 miles from Edinburgh and sits right next to the amazing River Tay which is one of the most scenic rivers in Scotland.

Off she went to her meeting and off i went on my Dunkeld House Hotel woodland wander. The hotel sits in a large area and is full of botanical and landscape wonders, i could have spent all day here or maybe even stayed the night, stunning.
