Description

The view towards the south from the highest peak in Switzerland, the Dufourspitze (15,200 feet). For us, this was the last peak of our run - ten peaks over 4000 meters in five days. In the background one can see the Rifugio Margherita on the crest of the Punta Gnifetti. Clocking in at a few feet under 15,000, it is Europe's highest mountain hut, staffed only in the summer season.
