Description
I’ve photographed the Department of Commerce building in Washington DC many times. It is quite an imposing structure, looking out over the Ellipse, despite being no larger than any of the other buildings in DC. With the contrasting patterns offered by the alternating windows and columns, its imposing façade makes it a prime candidate for black and white conversion, hence the long the exposure image that I captured in 2017. Washington DC.
