"Dancing Lady Orchid"
A macro photograph of my "Dancing Lady" orchid, more formally known as Onc. Sharry Baby 'Red Fantasy,' dancing in the sunlight in my plant room. This Oncidium has a lip that is a vibrant shade of fuchsia pink with redder petals and sepals. The inflorescence appears on a long spike, blooming all along its length, which is why they are referred to as "spray orchids." They are most remarkable however, for their flowers' resemblance to a lady in a gown with a full skirt dancing in the air. Definitely a fun plant to cultivate!
