Description
The Fibonacci spiral is something I have studied and constantly look for in the not only nature, where it is everywhere, but also in man's reproduction of it. This example is in marble, wrought iron, and wood. The shadows and light added to the drama of this beautiful staircase where a groom saw his bride for the first time and, although I got the shot, I looked down and saw this as well!
Seeing the world, and all of its details, is an important part of what I do. Not only does it work for better images, but more importantly, it allows me to enjoy the world so much more than if I never noticed anything but what was right in front of me.

Beautiful composition and I love how something that is old and used looks so modern and fabulous. Fibonacci would be proud! :-) Maggie
