I have been shooting the crucifix for several years, impressed by its everyday presence in life in Germany , not an icon as in an orthodox country. What I was trying to do , that is not just the religious art , it is more .Crucifixion is a symbol of self sacrifice in the most general meaning. So I was trying to make an artistic image of the major symbols of humankind as a Crucifixion and a Tree of life.
