Description
COPE’S TREE FROG-SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND This little guy I must say does not learn from his actions. Two consectutive days, we found this little guy in our pool’s skimmer basket with the chlorine tablets. We move him away from the pool area but he came back a second time. This if the first time we have seen this species of frog around our house and we have lived here for 34 years. It is whiteish in color, lots of warts and has a cute star on it’s back. We have been hearing a different creature call at night, we thought it was a frog but it did not sound like the normal serenade. So, after I saw this little guy, I googled him, found out who he was and what type of noise he makes. Now our mystery is solved, it was him and his crew out there, They sure are noisy for their tiny size of two inches.

I had meant to add, this same species was found two days in a row, warming himself on our pool step railing! I thought it was a frog in camouflage!:))) thank you for identifying him for me! He disappeared after two days- I guess he is singing in the trees.
